Sandy Relief
WHAT IS THE NEED?
On October 29, 2012, Super-storm Sandy tore through the East Coast. The storm was one thousand miles wide and impacted 13 states. Sandy killed over 120 people, destroyed entire neigh-borhoods, and caused upwards of $50 billion dollars in economic losses.God has called Forward Edge International to join the efforts of the local community as they begin to rebuild. Forward Edge volunteers have been making a difference by cleaning and re-storing homes, churches and schools damaged by Katrina in the Gulf Coast since 2005. We can now take that experience to thousands on the East Coast who are newly homeless, facing the same circumstances, and help them get back in their homes.
Over 525,000 Sandy victims registered with FEMA following the storm. We have built a partnership with a local church on Long Island that is working diligently to serve those hit hardest around them. We are mobilizing teams to assist in the gut-ting and reconstruction of buildings and homes throughout the area. Many flood victims lack the resources they need to rebuild and pray for a miracle. You can be their miracle.
Let’s work together to help the displaced and suffering rebuild their homes and lives. Join us as we reach out during this desperate hour of need.

So glad you will be sharing the stories and experiences of the team. Thanks, Steven!
