But thankfully, I do know when I'll be back again.
So I, along with 3 other adult leaders, am taking 17 highschoolers to Long Island, NY to serve the people affected by Superstorm Sandy. We aren't sure of the capacity that we will be serving yet; we could be performing demolition and clean-up on homes deemed unlivable, or we could be building homes, or repairing a church. In any case I am excited to see what God has in store for us. We have good, experienced, godly leadership, and we have an enthusiastic, energetic team of highschoolers. And just as importantly, we have a support team made up of people like you that are praying for us, encouraging us, and supporting us financially. THANK YOU! We need your support, we need you to think about us during your day and to pray for us at dinner with your family, and at nightly prayers. Yes, we are going to repair some of the physical damage that Sandy wrecked on this coast, but with your prayerful support God can also repair the spiritual damage, and spark new spiritual life in the people that haven't seen or felt Jesus work in their lives yet. You are a member of our team, and you are a part of this mission. For those of us leaving tonight, I will see you at the airport. Come prepared to do the Lord's work. And remember to SURF.
